Lancashire Children's University

On Tuesday over 30 children from Bolton-le-Sands School went along to Lancaster University for a special Children's University graduation ceremony. This event celebrated the voluntary learning experience that the children have gained over the past year.

Tag Rugby

The sensational Tag Rugby team of Bolton-le-Sands School represented this district at the Spar Lancashire School Games that were held in Blackpool on Tuesday.  In very hot and humid conditions the girls and boys played some fantastic rugby and were winners in the group stage.  This enabled the team to qualitfy for the prestigious 'cup' competition and they played some very good teams from across Lancashire.  In the end the team won the bronze medal for 3rd place overall - a really excellent effort!

Kwik Cricket Team

Year 5 Kwik-cricket team represented Bolton-le-Sands school at Trimpell Club recently and did really well.  They had a record of 'played 3, won 3'.  On a different note, due to the school's association with the cricketing authorities, including the ECB, the school has been given a gift by one of cricket's main sponsors, Yorkshire Tea. They now have 10,000 packets of tea to use as we will!!
