Door-to-door fish sellers

Trading Standards is still getting reports of door-to-door fish sellers pressuring residents into buying very large quantities of expensive fish. One householder paid £350 for a box of fish and another was charged £45 for a packet of fish. In both cases the fish did not look fresh and there were concerns it was not as described.  Consumers are advised to buy this type of product from local market traders, fishmongers and pre-arranged roundsmen, who have regular customers in the area and are easy to contact if things go wrong.
