The Community Playground Project
coffee morning raised £295 for playground funds. Thank you to all who
supported it. The project has received further generous community
donations from: Bolton-le-Sands Primary School FOBLES who donated the
proceeds from their last mufti day, M. Archer & Son, St Mary of the Angels
100 Club, The Bonfire Committee, and village residents. The Community
Playground Project is grateful to the Bowling Club and Sheila Rigby for
nominating the Playground Project as the recipient of funds raised
at the annual Mike Rigby Trophy to be held on Sunday April 13 at
Bolton-le-Sands Bowling Club.
Through a lot of
hard work, commitment and support the committee is very close to their
target. This is a final fundraising push to achieve their target and
ensure the playground achieves its full potential. Please support any
upcoming events that you can. Thank you again to all who have supported,
and continue to support, this eagerly anticipated project.
