Memories of an Indian Childhood

Memories of an Indian Childhood – Friday 12th April, 6.30pm (Doors open 6pm)

Be transported to Bombay…dusty, crowded and vibrant… Welcome to Sita Brand's world of large families, stubborn hairdos and romantic train journeys. Amongst the light-hearted stories about friendships and games there are darker memories all intertwined with the folk tales that influenced her childhood, told from a cross-cultural perspective.
She is an accomplished storyteller who blends the myths and folktales that have shaped human lives over thousands of years with the current stories that matter.

Tickets: £8 Adults / £6 under 18's, booking is required.
