Urgent Consumer Alert

A large quantity of fake coupons for money off well known brands has recently been discovered in Lancashire. The coupons appear to be copies of genuine coupons and were purchased by a Lancashire consumer over the internet. The consumer used the coupons in a supermarket to buy groceries but when the supermarket discovered the fakes, the Police were called and the consumer's groceries had to be returned to the store.  Consumers are being warned that coupons available to buy on the internet may be fakes. If they are purchased and used to buy products in shops or supermarkets, consumers may find that they are trading an illegal product and may lose money.
